Almost 9 weeks! Nervous but very excited. What a great time to be pregnant! Love all the holiday food if it doesn't make me sick. ;-/ We spent Christmas Eve. visiting the Grandparents and then dinner and games at the Shellnutts. Today we woke up and opened presents. I think Ryan and I were still more excited than Bella.

8 weeks
I had my first doctors appointment today. There is a heartbeat! We couldn't hear the heartbeat very good but I could see it. The babies heart rate was 145 bpm. The baby is due July 29th, 2013(our wedding anniversary). Everything looked great but they did some blood tests and decided to put me back on thyroid meds. My blood pressure was 13?/8?. Oh, Pregnancy brain already! I tried to do an announcement picture today so it could go out with our Christmas cards but Bella was NOT in the mood!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! 4 weeks with baby #2
Positive pregnancy test! Here we go again!!! Ryan, Bella and I went to the farm for Thanksgiving. I asked Ryan to buy a home pregnancy test on his way home from work the night before we left but he didn't. So we went to the farm but he and I both had a feeling I was pregnant. I was car sick on the way up there and felt sick the entire time we were there. As soon as we got back to town I bought a pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE! Time to call the doctor!

38 Weeks & Here comes Baby Bella!!!!
I had a doctors appointment Monday to have my blood pressure checked. It was high so the doctor told me to go get my bags and head to the hospital. Ryan took the day off anticipating the bad news. So we headed to the hospital to be induced. Monday night they gave me medication to thin my cervix. We didn't get ver much sleep. Tuesday morning at 6 they gave me pitocin to start my contractions. By noon my water broke naturally and Ryan went out to tell the nurses. They were excited Ryan was terrified! My contractions were getting stronger but I was not dilating at all. My doctor came to check me and said I wasn't even at a 1. He suggested a C-section. Ryan and I were scared to death. I cried. They got me ready for surgery and handed Ryan his scrubs. I walked to the operating room and told the anesthesiologist I was feeling sick. He gave me some meds. before he did a spinal. Everything happend so quickly. Family came to the hospital and Ryan barely made it into the operating room in time. Ryan watched the entire surgery and didn't pass out or puke. Baby Bella wasn't ready to come out yet. When the doctor opened me up and reached in to get her she decided to hide up by my ribs. The doctor couldn't reach her so he had to suction her out. They finally got her out and she was born at 6:08p.m. on October 18th, 2011. She was 5 pounds 13 ounces and 18 inches long. After the nurses cleaned her up Ryan brought her over to me. Love at first sight! We then went to the recovery room where we sat for 2 hours because I couldn't move my legs. The family didn't get to see her until 8p.m. After everyone went home I passed out and Ryan watched Bella. I woke up at 4 a.m. and Ryan said it was my turn to watch Bella. After a few days in the hospital they finally let us go home Friday. After 4 long years we are finally a family of three.
Welcome Home Bella! We love you!!!

33 Weeks
So glad this week is over and hoping next week is better. I had a doctors appointment this week. The babies heart rate was 150bpm. Everything looked good but my blood pressure is high again so he wants me to come back next week. Ugggghh! I have a pretty good idea of why my blood pressure is up and I'm trying to fix the problem. Ryan is pretty stressed out about delivery and as we get closer and closer the more he freaks out. As I mentioned before Ryan has decided to make some changes and is trying to get rid of some bad habits so he has not been the friendliest person to live with. I thought I was handling all of this pretty well but apparently not. So I told him that he doesn't have to be there with me during delivery if he is going to get this worked up about it. It is not doing any of us any good. Hope this weeks doctors appointment goes better.
Baby News:
Sleeping: Nope. Heartburn has been really bad this week and is keeping me up.
Movement: Tons and still kicking my ribs.
Cravings: None. Nothing sounds good but it seems like I'm eating all day long.
Worries: Many but mostly getting my blood pressure under control.

32 Weeks
Whew, what a week.
Ryan and I went to our first baby class. He had the night off so I made him go with me. Very entertaining! Ryan learned a few things. He learned what a breech and a colic baby is. He is hoping our baby isn't colicky. Me too!!! The teacher asked if there was anything we wanted to learn about and he said,"I'm just worried!" After watching a few videos he has decided that we should adopt. Ryan never wanted to before but after figuring things out he thinks it's the best option so then he doesn't have to see the delivery. The doctor told me last week at my appointment that they have some good drugs to help get me through delivery so I told Ryan that and maybe they have good drugs for dads too.
Ryan and I headed to the farm to see the end of harvest. I haven't been there since last spring. Boy did I learn a lot on that trip. It was pretty warm the day we got there and I knew I might be a little swollen so I packed some wide boots and tennis shoes. As soon as we got there I felt like Cinderella's ugly step sister trying to shove my fat foot into my boots. I thought I might go into labor from all the pulling so I moved on to the tennis shoes. Much better until I tried to tie them. All the bending over really hurts! Oh, and it's not a good idea to try and tie shoes when you have to pee! Day 2, it was chillier that day so I decided to put on my coat that I had brought. I knew it was going to be a tight fit and I was pretty excited when I got it zipped. Then I looked up and saw Ryan laughing at me so I looked down at my belly...I broke the zipper! Rrrrr! I might be in trouble till this baby gets here because it is getting colder and I apparently don't have any winter close that still fit. I hope it doesn't snow before she gets here! On the way home I had a little panic attack. I always pee before we leave and I knew I could make it to the next place that I could go. Well, we ran into some road construction and we were about half an hour(without road delays) away from the gas station. I knew my bladder was getting full but I knew I could make it. Then all of a sudden she decided to use my bladder as a punching bag. I looked and Ryan and asked,"How much longer?" He thought I was trying to be funny. So I let him know I wasn't kidding we might have to stop so I can go. It wouldn't have been the first time I went on the side of the road but this would have been a little different since we were following a pilot car with a line of cars including a bus full of football players from Malta right behind us and a crew of workers in the next lane. Thankfully she decided to move so the urge went away.
