Life is exhausting but awesome!!!  Sooo much LOVE!!! Four years ago I truly didn't think we were going to be able to have kids and now here we are with 2!  Loving life

The day started early because we had to be at the hospital at 5am for my c-section.  We took Bella with us and Grandma Becky came to play with her while we were in surgery.  All went well but we had a hard time deciding on a name.  We finally came up with Adalynn Kay.  She is 18.5 inches, 6 pounds 15 ounces.  She came out screaming(unlike Bella).  She has chubby little cheeks, lots of short blondish hair.

Happy 40th Birthday Aunt Tonya

 Last couple of nights in the hospital were rough.  Addie was awake and crying non stop from 2am-5am!  Can't wait to get home.

39 weeks...Last night as a family of 3!

Such a sad and exciting night.  Tomorrow morning we will be welcoming a new baby girl into the family.  So excited to see what she looks like, how is she like/different from Bella, is Bella going to be nice to her or throw a fit?  Time will tell...

Comparing Pregnancies

Comparing this pregnancy to the one with Bella:

First Trimester:  I was a lot sicker and more exhausted with this one.

Second Trimester:  Still sick and had more headaches with this one.

Third Trimester:  About the same but not as nervous about the delivery since it's a scheduled c-section.  Just worried about taking care of two kids.

Cravings with Bella:  dairy queen, wine, chai tea latte, burgers, fries, guacamole and salsa, mac n cheese, waffles and frapuccinos or anything blended.  Cravings after Bella: Hershey kisses, caffeine, and sugar cookies.

Cravings with this pregnancy:  dairy queen, peanut M & M's, pancakes, pizza, frappuccino, sugar cookies, carmel apples, spicy buffalo chicken salad, dr. pepper, lemonade, or anything cold.  Cravings after Adalynn: caffeine, chocolate chip cookies, and nutter butters.

Coffee and pop made me sick with all pregnancies during the first trimester.

Movement with Bella:  with Bella I could feel kicks and punches.

 Movement with Adalynn:  Addie would move a lot but it felt like flips and rolls.

Blood pressure

Blood pressure was 136/86 today.  I've gained 20.8 pounds so far!!!  Oey!  At least I weigh less than I did with Bella.

Almost 34 weeks

Had a doctors appointment today and my blood pressure is creeping up.  It was 121/77 two weeks ago and now it is 137/85.  I've gained 17 pounds!  Here we go!!! :-(

Grandpa

We had Grandpa Irwin's funeral yesterday.  So overwhelming with emotions when you are 8 months pregnant!  I wasn't aware they were going to have a military service with a 21 gun salute.  It was amazing.  It was great to see everyone just wish it was for a different reason.  Miss you Grandpa!!!
