23 Weeks

I had an appointment today.  It all went well.  I have gained 7 pounds.  My blood pressure was 120/80.  The baby's heart beat was 140bpm.  It's been a week since we found out we are having a boy and it hasn't really sank in yet.  I am doing a garage sale on Saturday and so I've been trying to get rid of all of our baby girl stuff but it makes me kind of sad.  No more GIRLS!  I'm exhausted but I've also been working like crazy for this garage sale.  I'm finally starting to feel better and I have a little more energy.  I'm also starting to get more of an appetite.  Along with the appetite comes the heartburn!

22 Weeks! It's a...

22 weeks. It's a.................BOY!!!  I can't believe it!

Ok, funny story.  I went to the ultra sound by myself while Ryan stayed home with the girls.  I wanted to do something fun for the big reveal to Ryan so I decided to go to the party store.  I got a blue, pink and black balloons.  I had them put blue confetti in the black balloons.  Well on my way home the blue and one black balloons popped in the car.  There was blue confetti everywhere!  I cried!!!!!  My plan was ruined.  So I got home with one pink balloon and a black one.  Ryan saw the pink balloon and immediately thought it was another girl.  I stood back and I was going to take a video of him popping the last black balloon so I could get his reaction on video.  Well he popped the balloon and was shocked to see we were having a boy.  I was shocked too when I realized I had missed the entire thing.  I cried!!!!  No video.  Just a picture. 

19 weeks

I had an appointment today and everything looked great.  My blood pressure is great the lowest it's been in years!  Baby's heart beat was 152bpm.  Bella and Addie's heart beats were 140bpm at 22 weeks.  We find out May 6th if it's going to be a girl or boy!  3 weeks!!!  I think it's another girl, Bella goes back and forth, Ryan thinks girl but hopes for a boy, and Addie...well...shits about to hit the fan for her!  

I'm am feeling better.  In the last couple of weeks I've gone from a "she's been drinking way too much" to a "is she or isn't she" and now a "Holy crap!  She's pregnant AGAIN!" look.

I am starting to feel the baby moving more and more which is good.  It's my favorite part of being pregnant.  

I am so proud of Bella!  She has gone 2/3 nights without having an accident!  The first night she had one right when she woke up.

Addie on the other hand has been a pistol the last couple of weeks!  She really enjoys throwing temper tantrums, especially in PUBLIC!  I guess I should give her a break since 2 teeth just came in and I can see 2 more ready to break through.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! 15 Weeks

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I had my 3rd appointment today.  Blood pressure was good again today.  They found the babies heart beat with the doppler this time and it was between 120-130bpm.

Just a little update for you all.  I am 15 weeks and baby is doing well.  Weeks 6-13 were BRUTAL!!!  During one of those weeks I fell asleep for a few minutes and woke up to Bella saying, "Mom, go back to sleep."  Hmm...why?  Apparently she thought it would be a good idea to color Addie's chair with a chocolate candy bar!!!  I am starting to feel a little better these days but I'm still nauseous.  I am still tired and I don't see that changing anytime soon especially since Addie doesn't sleep through the night yet.  She hates sleeping alone.  We have made progress the last couple of months though.  She now crawls in bed with Bella when she wakes up in the middle of the night.  Good for me but not so good for Bella.  Bella has been a lot more fun this pregnancy.  She is so cute!  She talks and sings to the baby. She even gives the baby kisses.  Melts my heart!  Ryan and Bella fight about the sex and name of the baby.  Ryan wants it to be a boy so we can't even talk about it being a girl.  Bella thinks it's going to be a girl and her name is going to be Princess Ariel!  

Bella and I have been looking at a few preschools.  She is so excited.  Ryan doesn't want her to go because he doesn't want her to grow up and he thinks Addie will be bored.  He also did the math last night and figured out how much we would have to spend for 2 years of preschool for 1 kid!  He is not happy.  

Addie has been busy trying to do everything Bella does.  She is also working on talking and potty training.  

Ryan is still Ryan!  

I am totally freaking out about this one!  We are going to be out numbered, we need a bigger car and house(we are going to have 3 kids in one room if Ryan doesn't get the basement finished soon), is Bella going to be able to handle preschool(baby is due right when school starts), is Ryan going to be able to drop her off and leave her at school if she starts crying while I am in the hospital...just to name a few!

11 weeks

I had my 2nd appointment.  I finally got to meet with the actual doctor today.  She seems very nice.  She has two kids too that are the exact same age as Bella and Addie.  My blood pressure was good today.  They tried to find the babies heart beat with the doppler thing but couldn't so they had to do a quick ultrasound.  The baby looked good and healthy, moving around a lot.

Here comes #3...8 Weeks

Well I had my first appointment yesterday.  It didn't go as well as I had planned.  I have a new doctor since my old doctor retired.  The new doctors were not aware of my previous miscarriages so they didn't plan on doing an ultrasound.  Thankfully they were able to get me one for today and there was a heartbeat!!!  I haven't had a very good felling about this pregnancy so I was really stressed out and worried there wasn't going to be a heartbeat.  I cried as I always do when I hear and see that heartbeat for the first time.  The baby looked healthy and its heartbeat was 171.

What a day!

 Today was an aweful day!  Addie and Bella were looking out the window and Addie fell off Bella's bed.  She hit her head on one of the crib legs.  There was blood everywhere.  She was crying, Bella was crying and I was crying.  Ryan was working so I called his Mom and she met us at the ER.  They needed to do and x-ray but I wasn't able to go in with her because I was pregnant so Ryan's mom went in with her while Bella sat in the hallway crying.  It turned out that she was fine but needed to get staples.  It took 2 nurses and me to hold her down so the doctor could get the staples in.    I just wanted to hold her and never let her go.
